Hi, I’m Vanessa, and I’m dedicated to transforming systems for a more equitable economy.

As the Executive Director of the Pond-Deshpande Centre, my mission is to bring people together to address the complex, systemic issues facing our communities. I believe collaboration and a shared commitment to innovation are key to creating sustainable systems change.

In my work, I’ve seen the challenges that leaders in the social sector face. You might be leading a mission-driven organization or trying to amplify your impact in a world where systemic barriers can make progress feel like an uphill battle.

I understand the weight of those challenges.

With over 15 years of experience in social impact, I’ve supported organizations in accessing the resources, tools, and networks they need to thrive. Whether it’s co-founding an impact measurement startup like RIDDL, where we raised critical funding, or facilitating cohorts of social enterprises in Atlantic Canada, my work is about ensuring organizations can serve their communities effectively and sustainably.

But my journey doesn’t stop at strategy and systems. As a Master’s candidate exploring the inner journey of master coaches, I’m delving into the personal growth and transformation required for leaders to create meaningful change. Because true systems change begins within.
